Timbers Board of Directors

President
Jerry Callaghan

I have been a Springfield resident for roughly 20 years and moved to the Timbers in 2008.  Initially a volunteer on the parking committee, I was first elected to the board in 2010 and have continued to serve the community to date.

I have lived on Winding Hollow Way since 2008 but in the West Springfield neighborhood since 2003. My son, now a senior at WSHS, also attended Cardinal Forest ES and Irving MS. I became involved with the HOA Board in the hopes of fostering a community of neighbors who get to know each other and work together to provide a welcoming and safe neighborhood. I am actively involved with the communications committee - I run the neighborhood Twitter account - as well as the social committee.

I have been a resident of the Timbers since 2008.  I began serving the community as member of the AECC committee, where I worked with other members to expand the approved color palette for the neighborhood. I now serve as author of the newsletter and administrator of the Timbers HOA Facebook page.

I have lived in the Timbers “on and off” since 1988. I am a retired Foreign Service Officer who has worked primarily in Europe and South America.  My son (Alex) and daughter (now married) were raised in the Timbers at various stages of their lives when not overseas. I enjoy volunteering at local elementary schools, playing in several music groups, gardening and meeting new neighbors at the pool and on walks.

I've been a Timbers home owner since 1986.  I raised my daughter here and she attended Cardinal Forest Elementary school.  I relocated to Maryland in 2000, but always knew I would be returning to my home in the Timbers.  In March of 2012, I moved back to my home, and joined the HOA in 2016.  I truly enjoy this community and serving on the HOA.

I have lived on Forrest Hollow Lane since early 1984, working and raising 2 children here.  My daughter and grandsons have now moved into the community giving me volunteering connections with Cardinal Forest, Irving, West Springfield, Keene Mill, and Lake Braddock Schools.  I enjoy walking around our lovely community.
