Summer Reminders


  • Drinking is not allowed in the public spaces of the neighborhood. If you see people drinking in the common areas, please contact the Fairfax County Non-Emergency 703-691-2131 and report the location.
  • Children playing with balls should play in the grassy common areas not on the courts and streets. This will protect the children and others property (i.e. cars and gardens).

  • Watch for pedestrians and bicyclists. Now that school is out please take the corners in the neighborhood slow because you never know who is playing around the bend.

  • Please do not let your children leave their bikes and toys on sidewalks and common areas. This will lead to tripping hazards for others and increased risk of theft of your children's playthings. There have been reports of residents vehicle being damaged due to bike, scooters and other playthings in the streets.

  • All dogs must be on a leash at all times in the Timbers per Fairfax county code. If your dog is not on a leash, you have no way to control them if they run after a child or another animal. Please take this into consideration next time you take your dog for a walk. Also remember scoop that poop!

  • Do not set off fireworks or sparklers around others parked cars. Do not leave used fireworks in the common area.

  • Car repair is not allowed in the parking areas of the neighborhood, unless to make it possible for your vehicle to be taken to an appropriate repair location.
